Re: What if your husband isn’t attracted to you?
I’m glad that everyone is giving their input.
TLK you’re right. I don’t like bad mouthing him or hearing bad stuff about him. I’ve mentioned in my previous threads as well that he has many qualities for which I would try my best for.
It’s the men’s psyche overall. Attraction and looks matter a lot to them, it’s difficult to move past it for many guys. He doesn’t make my life miserable all the time. He supports me financially, makes me enjoy, takes me to every restaurant in town, gifts me nice stuff, does not pressurize me fr anything, always encourages me to talk to my family, and many more good things.
I wouldn’t disagree there are really many tough times too. But nonetheless it is a relation I want to work on to my level best and I know that he is trying in his own way too.
Looks have been a problem for him. I didn’t know till we got married, It’s not like he doesn’t think I’m pretty. He just feels I don’t maintain myself, dress out of style and my outlook isn’t up to the mark. Initially I was hurt and cried over it but gradually realized for men this is very important. Their physical relation bases on that as well. So it’s understandable. I do want to work on everything and improve and if the. It doesn’t change, I’ll probably be facing him head on over it.
Also, when it comes to improving anything related to looks he isn’t kanjoos, he tells me you can take money for getting new clothes, makeup, etc. just buy the right stuff that suits.
I think I may be the only one who hasn’t checked out this thread until now. Would I be asking too much if I asked you to show a pic? It doesn’t have to include your face but if I could see what the problem is (if there is any) I would be better able to help.
