I was just listening to someone talking about adoption and I wondered what would do if you found out you were adopted? Would your feelings towards parents or siblings change?

I am sure it wud be a shock but change of feelings? i doubt it. But yah when we think of blood relations there is alot we take for granted and that might change in some cirumstances but i don't think you would love them any less because of it.

Feelings wouldn't change but I'd be quite shocked and wouldn't believe it.

I wouldnt have been able to change the fact I was adopted, so why would I change my feelings. But obviously, my stance is only assumed.

It depends on the age I was told, if they waited untill I was an adult I would be angry. I have real issues with adoption anyway, I don't think hiding a childs true identity is Islamic, if you do choose to adopt you should tell the child when they are young.

i’d be okay with it… if anything I would be more grateful to my parents… because who knows what kind of life i would have had if they hadnt adopted me

i'll ponder over the fact that after attaining adulthood, would i adopt my parents :D

I once made my little sister believe that i am adopted. She was 12 at the time. My sister's eyes were red and was in shock!. But i then hugged her..told her i was joking. She was hitting me with magazines!!. It's kind of funny because i look different than my sisters and tiny bit look like my brother who is 1 and half year younger than me.

I'd be gutted! I would still love my family but i think id always have this thought at the back of my head, that these people aren't my blood family :( lol

i'd like to add that honestly...i would throw a tantrum and plead with my parents to say they are lying and that i am theres.... cuz honestly they are the best parents ever and i cant imagine being anyone else's except theirs
