Just smile back at him, say hi and talk to him when appropriate. And then see where things go from there …

If you like a guy who is looking at you, make eye contact and smile. If possible, say “hi” and introduce yourself (if you two haven’t met already). Again, none of this is rocket science. It’s no different than making friends with a girl. When you meet a stranger who seems nice and who you want to be friends with, you smile, introduce yourself, and ask questions to get to know the person better and try to find stuff in common. Every relationship (aside from totally blind arranged marriages) starts with a friendship.

Now here is the catch. We are talking about Pakistani guys here. Guys who grew up in Pakistan.
I went to one of the most affluent schools of Karachi. Kids there spent all their vacations abroad. You would expect such people to be open minded. So, once a guy in school pointed towards a group of girls and said you know they talked to us first on the first day of school. WTH? So what if they talked to you first? They talked to you, didnt send a marriage proposal!

Now this is the mentality I fear. Guys are very clever. They stare at you, smile at you like a love sick puppy but they dont say it out loud. How are you supposed to proceed in such a situation?
