What If you have a kid and a thing?

My father injured his knee playing soccer. So his right knee did not bent beyond say 80-degrees, now while praying in mosque he would not be able to sit properly.
As little kids that made us very conscious, that who is looking at father.

Today I saw one dude and his kid in the mosque. He had same thing. He sat on the chair and prayed. Kid looked conscious about his dad.

Kids are very aware of their parents weaknesses, thats what I am trying to say.

Re: What If you have a kid and a thing?

its up to the parent to teach the child to be proud of himself and not ashamed

after that, its the kids job to grow some and not be ashamed of his parents.

I see someone like that in almost any masjid I go to, sitting on a chair because they are unable to stand for whatever reason. Noone here thinks it's a big deal.

So God allows him to injure his leg and still he prays to that God. Who is more pious than someone who has hardships or tragedy and yet they keep praying to the one they believe is responsible for all things?

Kids' hearts and minds need to grow up and see things with a wider or perhaps more true perspective.

If they grew up they wouldn't be kids....

Kids are concious but its parents job to make feel confident not ashamed. Instead one can teach kids to pray to ALLAH for their parents health.

u are so right... I have seen that happening.

Re: What If you have a kid and a thing?

Kids get conscious of their parents weakness cause for them, their mom and dad are superman and superwoman .. and they want the whole world to see it like that.

I can totally understand what PM is saying

Re: What If you have a kid and a thing?

I never want to see my parents in a position of weakness, so if a kid sees that his dad is sitting while the rest of the dads are standing and praying, he would get conscious, maybe concerned, maybe embarrased, maybe sad. Soon they'll figure it out and understand the reason behind it. I can totally relate.

Ppl don’t call you Boss for no reason.

Nik. I am so proud of my little nephew. My father was quite unorthodox kind. Which usually didn’t sink in with ppl of pak. When we were little, we saw “mazdorz” working in our place talking about my father. We kept quiet.

20 some thing year later. My dad was working out, yet again some one working in our house said “look what old man is doing”
my 6 year old nephew goes to that guy “u are UDP”
he goes “what is that.”
nephew “ullo da patha” :omg:
some kids are born men. :snooty:
