If the girl found out her husband was sleeping around, what choice does she have? Her parents have spent all this money on the wedding and she doesn't want to bring shame to her family by getting divorced so soon (even though she has done nothing wrong). She will more than likley suck it up and learn to deal with it! She won't like it and it may cause issues of trust in the marriage, but she feels like she had no other choice.. However, if she did divorce him due to his past indescetions, she would still come off worse than him with all the community gossip etc etc..
On the other hand, if the boy found out his missus was ridden more times than a bicycle, he wouldn't think twice about divorcing her and the whole world would know what his missus was like thanks to his family and their bog mouths..!!
Women always come off worse in most matters!!
In this matter at least, there's a reason why women are judged more harshly. I'll let you figure it out.
Personally, if she was honest about it, and her character and morals were compatible with mine, I wouldn't really care. The past is the past and I'd admire her for telling the truth. It would probably bother me a little but I'm not saint either so who am I to judge.
