I read both of the articles that you sent - To me it makes sense but to most homosexual population it might not.
They way that I look at it that it's an urge - just like you might have an urge to kill someone, or to hurt someone but you don't go exploring every urge that you have.
We can't deny it - it exists in the world around us and even existed in olden days.
My question pertains to children - what age is the right age to start talking to them about this stuff?
Now you are talking . So the kids are not born with it. The environment around them or some kind of trauma can result in this kind of behavior. Too much liberty , lack of discipline , lack of interest in taking time to raise kids can result in this kind of behavior. So parents can avoid it by making sure that their kids have the right kind of environment around them and are well protected from all kind of evils, like indulging in pre teen , teen or pre marital sex , drugs , gangs . Parents should make sure the kids are hanging around right kind of crowd. etc etc.
It will be a parent's bad luck if they do all they can do to protect them and still their kid turns out to be a rebel , homosexual or criminal. Then luck of the parents has to be blamed for it.
