What if there was no death?

Re: What if there was no death?

Your ‘thought’ became action when you wrote the post #17.

Hitler’s crime were beyond being a mass murderer. Now back to topic shall we?

Re: What if there was no death?

Once again you don’t understand, pal. :smack: anyway take away his murders and he is just another right winger who wanted a country for “his kind of people”.

Re: What if there was no death?

good point!

no death = no choosing time :D

I was given the choice of living forever ... so were you ... we both said ... "yes"
That's why we are here on this Earth ... the price for eternal life

Yes, and the concept of God would be absolutely relevant ... For He Created us and He would be Sustaining us forever ...

I can't see that to be accurate ... If there was no death then there would still be life ... and we can't live without God either ... Remember death is a transition of life through domains .... it is not the end of life ...

It is said in our faith that all Jannatis will be frozen in age about 33 years ... So it seems you are tapping in to a deep need that your soul is emitting, no new children will be born but everyone lives forever ...

Re: What if there was no death?

If there was no death then all the scientists and inventors and whole mankind in general would be more genius and wiser and improving every single day. We would have colonized the adjacent heavenly bodies by now and would have discovered other sources of energy and food.

Plus if there was no death then I am sure that birth control laws would be very very strict.

Re: What if there was no death?

If there was no death - then food would be eaten for pleasure only ... as it would be in Jannah ... It is amazing how everything Jannah offers is simply by eliminating "death" - Because Jannah is a large expanse - the poorest Jannati will have a dominion equal in wealth to this whole earth ... which points to the idea that you suggest - without death we would without fear travel the universe ... for pleasure and intellectual pursuit ... Coming back to the main question would God be relevant? - Yes ... because each time we discover something pleasurable - we would thank God ...

Re: What if there was no death?

So if there was no death it would practically mean we would be living in a type of declassified Jannat condition ... The problem in that is both good and evil people will be sharing eternity with each other ... That could get quite annoying ... unless you move very far away from people you don't get on with ...

Re: What if there was no death?

economical survival, social system, marriage, divorce, love, hate, pain, grief, everything else will still be there - so I am not sure how you are relating no-death society with jannah.

Re: What if there was no death?

And once again what you did not get so far that murder is not the only crime on this earth (in general) and not the only crime Hitler committed. No need to compare him with anyone else, that is just a tangential debate you are going in to.

Evil people will also live on this earth and neither they would die nor their victims of crimes ‘other than’ murder, if there is no death.

Very simple facts and concepts have to be explained to you…as usual. :hehe:

Re: What if there was no death?

Deepak Chopra has a very interesting take on this. Without death there is suffering, because its unnatural. Cancer for example, is the aggregation of cells that cannot die when they should.

Re: What if there was no death?

yes simple facts and concepts about your idea of what that world would be like. but interesting how much verbosity the hint generated. good show as always.

Re: What if there was no death?

You do realize you changed your sentence and even if not deliberate, it still did not help you.

:hehe:

Re: What if there was no death?

Well I'm not making a one to one relationship ... in the points above .... yes .. perhaps if you consider such a lasting life to be the case in pleasure then in order for it to work out it would need other things as well as death to be stopped as well.

What you have described would actually continue in Jahannum ... which is another form of permalife ... albeit many deaths ... with anguish, hate, pain, etc ...

Re: What if there was no death?

khan bhai phir to 01 ft jga b crore ki hoti. bs hr bnda apni jga khra rehta q k hilnay k liey space e nei honi thi.

Re: What if there was no death?

lol

Re: What if there was no death?

kabhi jannat, kabhi jahnnam

are bhai, jannat and jahannam are way more than just absence of death.

Re: What if there was no death?

Yes ... But that does not negate what I said ...

Going back to the original question not having death or seeking eternal life does not change our view of God ... It shouldn't change it ... The question supposes that our relationship with God is only because of the afterlife ... But when in the afterlife what about then?

Re: What if there was no death?

But in that case wouldn't our existence itself be meaningless? I mean think about it...the material concept of values, money, gold, and other worldly possessions have value because of scarcity+ human greed. So, w/o death those things would becoming meaningless b/c those thing would no longer be necessary for existence.
