What i am hearing ? Afghan exit strategy

:hehe: Please spare Obama the war ideology. So what’s the logic in what you’re saying? From one failure (iraq) into the next (afghanistan), and from that failure to yet a new one (Pakistan)?

I believe and hope Obama is smarter than his predecessor and know that might cannot win it all. America cannot win in Afghanistan by bombing Pakistan, in hopes of salvaging whatever little show of might and arrogance it has left.

Has it occured to you, that perhaps the populations of other countries don’t really care about America, its policies, or what its “strategic interests” are? And people just want to be left alone? Pakistan has its own problems to deal with thanks to W.O.T. and it is fast approaching that point where Pakistan will have to wave U.S.A. goodbye because it can no longer afford to do the dirty work of America.

Drone attacks, where they have been effective (credit is due), have not fully solved the problem. The problem can only be solved through dialogue and economical initiative. That is why John Kerry among others have urged this new U.S. Administration to focus on aid and building bridges rather than burning bridges. Communication can solve a lot of things.

I hope Nato and Allies realize that the only solution to Afghanistan is to talk with workable taliban, hand over the power to them via a transition or other face-saving measure and retreat back to homeland. The longer U.S. remains in Afghanistan, the more mess will come from it and the higher Anti-American sentiment will be felt and spread which will then create potential extremists, as if it hasn’t already. Not to mention the cost it has and continues to inflict on American economy, the countless number of families who are left with injured fathers/mothers/sons. The latter account of injury far surpasses that of the deceased victims of 9-11. Being a supercop will not get you roses and red carpet, no matter how greedy an installed puppet of the recipient nation is. The population and its sentiments must be considered.

Fact: World does not revolve around U.S. or its Policy but rather is bullied into pretending to care about it because U.S. is notorious at installing puppet regimes.

Fiction: U.S. can change the world to its own liking.

Rest is open to intrepretation, and i’m sure you are intelligent and can understand the difference there.

Does U.S. really think it will succeed in using Pakistan against containment of China?
