What have we become?

Successful sectarian indoctrination has made us worse than animals. Last night Shias were attacked in parachinar (kurram agency), when people started rescue efforts another bomb exploded killing more people. When the injured were being shifted to Peshawar their ambulances were attacked resulting in more deaths. More than 40 people killed so far. The media is behaving as if nothing has happened, maybe since the victims were Pashtuns and then Shias. Selective morality…

Media kya kray?Next thing you know, media will be running sad songs in the background, filming janazas and wailing women and thrusting mic into an orphan kid's face "" Aaap k abbu marr gaye hain, aap ko kaisa lag raha hai. Ab aap kya karo gay? Paisay kon laye ga, khilonay kon laaye ga? Aap k to abbu marr gaye"...

Re: What have we become?

We haven't become anything yet. Certainly not a nation.

Kuch bannay bhi nahi diya jata, kuch hamain bhi khas shoq nahi hay...

Re: What have we become?

There are two sides to the age old shia sunni violence in Pakistan.

First, those who prefer to kill in the name of anti-shia-ism need to look at what the pious sunni predecessors did in the era of Sahabah, Tabi'een, Taba-Tabi'een. Did they kill like this? Are those who kill today ordained by Allah, any where in authentic holy texts, to kill Shias?

Second, Shia'ism entices violence by calling some of the 5 Rightly guided Khalifas with seriously derogatory terms, however they expect those ignorant on the other side not to get enticed and show utmost patience and character. Amazing approach to the most casual neutral observer I would say.

Re: What have we become?

That's very dangerous trend. Ultimately this will reach to every one's home in Pakistan including media. IK is in London on holidays, but his province is bleeding. Unfortunately he has not uttered a single word against these 'maut ke saudagar'.
