If you read my work on the quran I have explained things in much more detail about God’s use of human language to express his thoughts and the related problems and their solutions.
You will agree that almost all human languages use words which can have many different meanings when used. You will also agree that before people came up with words and their meanings they had to have concepts about things in their minds which they wanted to express which led them to invention of language to communicate their thoughts to each other.
Before people invented alphabet set or letters they used to draw pictures of things eg for letter alif they used to draw head of a bull or for letter baa they used to draw picture of a tent and so on. They also attached complete concepts to these letters. This way by using just one picture they could convey so many different ideas just like a baby when he speaks his mother understands what he means.
You will agree that when a letter or word has so many concepts attached to it then it will become impossible to make proper sense of it unless we look at it in its proper context. Now the question is what decides context of a letter or word or phrase or sentence or paragraph or a whole message or story? The quran is a complete message of God, what is proper context of its text? Is there any way to know this context? If we have that context only and only then we can be reasonably sure we have interpreted its message correctly. Moreover there has to be an overall context of a complete text as well as contexts within contexts all of which must fit together neatly within the overall context of the text. Unless we have reached this stage of thinking we are not going to be able to understand the quranic message properly as intended by its sender. This is why the question what decides context of a text? I will wait for your input in this regard to help me understand things yet better.

Tbh Mughal sahib, I read your posts in this thread and sorry to say its very clear you are very confused. I'm not sure which mullahs you follow that you keep referring to. The real ones never talk about only praying and doing nothing else. Islam is definitely a ultimate solution and it involves ibadah as well as all other things to live one's own daily life as well as helping others to lead to a collective effort to build a great societies.
There are many many examples in history where muslims did establish such amazing societies and when the west came out of dark, they learnt from muslims and followed their footsteps.
Your pointing out Islam that its not a mazhab itself reflects that its mere an effort to create further division among muslims.
Bringing people to belief with logic is not that simple. It needs spirituality as well, that brings peace to your life. and you being writer of something great dont understand that. your best potential audience should be people living in west who are more open to logic and reason than our people, if you really know what your are talking about.
The final Messenger of Allah, i.e., Muhammad was the means through whom the Noble Quran was revealed. His sayings and lifestyle and teachings are called Sunnah and Hadith. Now Quran teaches us again and again in various Surah to offer the salah (which you loosely seem to call “pooja pat”). The Quran does not teach us how this salah is to be performed, so where do we get this from? Yes the Sunnah and Hadith of the Prophet .

As I already explained things the quranic text needs to be understood in its proper context. The over all context of a text is always decided by over all purpose of a text, so the question is, what is over all purpose of the text of the quran and where does this purpose come from? If we read the quran we cannot fail to see the quranic claim that it is revealed by God for guidance for humanity. What is guidance of God about? The quran tells us it is about how human beings should live in this world properly. In other words the quran explains guidelines for humanity as to how people should form a constitution and its laws to organise and regulate themselves as a proper human community in the kingdom of God. In other words the quran explains a way of life for humanity and names this way of life deen al islam ie a way of life if understood properly and adopted faithfully by human beings as a proper human community then it will lead them to blissful, dignified and secure existence in this life. Moreover due to that people will be rewarded with yet better life in hereafter.
This should answer your own question as to what is meant by word deen in the proper context of the quranic text. That is people should live by constitution and its laws based upon the quran. Mazhab is mere make beliefs and useless practices because it does not deal with needs of humanity. On the contrary deen is about how people are suppose to live in this world properly ie how they should go about fulfilling their daily needs properly. Words way of life themselves tell us what they mean ie living is all about living and livelihood. We cannot survive without fulfilling our daily needs and if way of life means anything opposite to that then it mean nothing at all. My question is to all people (muslims and nonmuslims alike) what has deen of islam to offer humanity that people should accept it and follow it instead of accepting and following mazhab and secularism? If one has not already read what I have explained about the quran and deen of islam one should because otherwise one may not be able to answer in a consistent way the question I raised.
Islam is a deen not mazhab. There is a huge difference between deen of islam and mazhab as well as deen of islam and secularism. No way of life is as good as deen of islam but one can only come to know that once one has studied the message in the quran in its own proper context.
Mullaism is not deen of islam but mazhab and mazhab is a curse for humanity which is worse than secularism. Deen of islam is a top most blessing of God for humanity for this world as well as for hereafter. This is why the quran tells us that whoever has been given knowledge of it has been bestowed with the utmost goodness from God because nothing can match this blessing of God for humanity. Why not? Because it tells people how to live in this world properly. What will happen if people will learn to live in this world properly? Their terrible painful suffering by hands of each other for petty personal gains at each other’s expense will come to an end and instead people will ensure well being of each other on basis of human brotherhood.
May be it is time for humanity to start discussing deen of islam as to what it really is. Particularly its pillars. They are not at all what mullahs tell us. Mullahs have been misinterpreting these pillars because they have been working for rulers and money lenders so they have been furthering their agendas as their stooges.
Therefore find out what is meaning of declaration of TOWHEED and what are meanings of words like SALAAH, SOWM, ZAKAAH and HAJJ etc in context of the quranic message and how these terms are related to each other like ideology, society politics, culture and economics or like systems, structures, procedures and practices. Remember deen of islam is a mission assigned by God to humanity through his messengers in form of a program which is supposed to be implemented by mankind for ensuring their own well being with full help and support of each other. This is why it is an education based revolutionary program which needs very hard work by its missionaries.
It is not a pooja of God thing just for sake of it as told by mullahs. No one can change this world merely by pooja of God. One should ask oneself, can pooja of God solve human problems? No, not at all. One can pray to God as much as one likes and nothing will happen till God given program is understood properly and implemented faithfully for solving problems. This is why no mullah has any proper solution for human problems that are related to living in this world properly. I do not dismiss any source when it comes to understanding of things because every little helps. The main problem is misconceptions which we can clearly see if we could educate ourselves to a particular level. For example, I took islam for a mazhab just like other muslims because that is what was and is taught in muslim countries. Not only in muslim countries but muslims all over the world learn islam in context of a mazhab. However when I woke up to critical thinking I found islam did not make any sense to me whatsoever in context of mazhab.
Not only that islam did not make any sense to me in context of mazhab but that mazhab did not make any sense to me in general be it hinduism, parsi-ism, judaism or christianity etc etc. The main reason was and is mazhab has nothing at all to offer humanity. Only when I came across idea of islam is a deen I began studying islam once more. This time it made some sense to me so I studied islam in context of deen more and more and it made sense more and more.
I have explained in detail already the fact that islam is a deen and not a mazhab. I have explained already the difference between the two concepts of islam.
Deen of islam has five pillars.
1)TOWHEED=declaration about oneness of God and how he revealed his message. God is sole ruler of this universe and none else and that muhammad is his last messenger through whom God revealed his final program in the quran. Can this create a better world for humanity? Yes. How? By bringing humanity under rule of God instead of people ruling each other. Does this address issue of needs of people? Yes. How? When people become one ummah and organise and regulate themselves on basis of guidelines provided by the quran they can sort out the issue of their needs and wants by taking all needed steps with full cooperation and support of each other. This will give people a real chance to work for ensuring well being of each other instead of competing against each other as rivals or enemies for personal gains at the expense of each other.
If one looks at declaration of faith in islam one cannot miss this clear cut concept that God alone has the right to rule the universe and each and every bit or atom of it by virtue of being its creator and owner and sustainer and none other than God has any right at all to rule anything at all. Human beings are only managers and consumers of what God has granted them to fulfil his purpose of their creation and that is all. God has provided people things to carry out his assigned mission by implementing his revealed program. So the concept of TOWHEED is very clear ie unity of mankind under rule of law of one God.
2)SALAAH=community network. It is necessary for humanity to form a network of humanity based upon guidance of the quran ie become an ummah or a proper human community so that quraanic program could be implemented. Can this create a better world for humanity? Yes, because becoming one people under rule of law of God has its huge advantages for humanity. It turns people in to a team that can work for all its essential goals which can help it fulfil all its proper needs and wants with help and support of each other in order to carry out the plan of God for fulfilling his purpose for which he created human beings.
3)SOWM=abstinence. It is necessary for people to abstain from doing all that which could cause damage to ummah or could cause tensions or fractures or fights between people of the community. Can this create a better world for humanity? Yes. How? When people do not do anything for harming or destroying each other deliberately then humanity can do things it needs to do rather than worrying about fighting with each other for robbing each other of each other’s rights. Does this address the issue of needs of people? Yes.
4)ZAKAAH=growth or to increase capacity or strength or prosperity. It is necessary for people to work for improvement and development or growth and prosperity or expansion of the ummah. Can this create a better world for humanity? Yes. How? When all people of the community do all they can according to the best of their God given abilities for ensuring well being of each other then it is going to help humanity become as strong and as powerful as it is possible for it. Does this address the issue of needs of people? Yes. How? The more humanity as a proper family is able to organise and regulate itself better and better for fulfilling its needs the more capable the proper human community becomes to be able to fulfil its real needs and wants.
5)HAJJ=sacred journey towards a set destination or goal, It is necessary for people to bring about a kingdom based upon guidance of God ie to establish rule of law of God in the world properly. This is a sacred journey to accomplish a sacred goal. Can this create a better world for humanity? Yes. How? When all people have access to all resources of the universe and they work for their own well being as a proper human family under God then humanity can turn this world into a living paradise for itself and that is how it can prove guidance of God is true and worthy and the provider of this guidance is truly great = Allahu akber.
Compare these five pillars of deen of islam to five pillars of mullah islam or mullaism or mazhab of islam.
1)Carry out pooja(worship) of only one God instead of none or many Gods. Can this create a better world for humanity? No. Does this address issue of needs of people? No.
2)Pray five times daily. Can this create better world for humanity? No. Does this address issue of needs of people? No. Moreover praising God could only be true if it is from the bottom of one’s heart otherwise it is only a lip service which reflect badly upon both ie on the one seeking praise (ie God) and the one offering praise (ie humanity). This is really very bad concept about God in minds of people of all versions of mazhab. Likewise praying for something to God makes no sense because God cannot please all people no matter what because people make opposing demands of God. Moreover if God has his own purpose and plan for creating this world and people in it then how can he carry out his purpose according to his plan if he lets people keep interrupting him? It is a question of God fitting-in in plans and purposes of people or people learning to fit in purpose and plan of God. Not only that there are various other problems with this so called pillar of mazhab of islam in respect of time and place.
3)Fasting for a month in a year during month of ramadan. Can this create a better world for humanity? No. Does this address issue of needs of people? No. Moreover God does not want people to suffer needlessly as staying hungry and thirsty only causes harm to human beings in different ways eg lack of sleep and rest interrupts working ability of people which reduces productivity. So month of ramadan proves to be curse rather than a blessing for humanity. Also islamic calender was started several years after the death of the prophet so there was no month by name of ramadan in time of the prophet and moreover there are problems with this pillar of mazhab of islam as well in respect of time and place so it too is a false attribution to deen of islam like prayers.
4)Paying poor’s due at the rate of 2.5% per year on whatever one owns over and above one’s essential basic needs. This is only for those who are rich or have more than what they need. Can this create a better world for humanity? No. Does this address issue of needs of people appropriately? No. This makes rich people much more richer and poor people much more poorer. It is recipe for destruction of humanity by hands of each other due to divide between rich and poor and no redressing of balance at all. Add to this inheritance law of mullahs to make it absolutely disastrous. Family of a rich man gets richer and family of a poor man gets poorer.
5)Visit kaaba in makkah once in life time during month of hajj. This is only for people who can afford it and are healthy enough. Can this create a better world for humanity? No. Does this address issue of needs of people? No.
So what has mullahs’ islam to offer humanity other than self torture and wasting their time as well as imposing painful suffering upon them by hands of rulers, money lenders and mullahs?
People who deliberately tell us islam is a religion are lying to us be they pretending to be muslims are nonmuslims. Deen of islam is from Allah but mazhab is creation of rulers, money lenders and mullahs in order to fool masses to further their own highly harmful and destructive agendas.
All Religious people of all religions are fooling themselves and each other by giving rulers, money lenders and mullahs a free hand for their own abusive use by them and as a result whole humanity is going through terrible painful suffering by hands of each other.
This is why deen of islam must be judged within its own proper context not on basis of a bit from here and bit from there. It is a system like a machine which has its own components in their proper places that make it function properly. Deen of islam was never implemented properly after the demise of the final messenger of Allah that is why the kingdom based upon guidance of Allah which he setup ended up destroyed due to mistakes of his followers within a short period of time after him.
I also explained wording of AZAAN or ADHAAN which mullahs tell us is a call for prayer. It is not a call for prayer but a call for unity of humanity under God according to revealed message of God through muhammad his final messenger. When people will look at adhaan in context of deen of islam they will see true meanings of words used in adhaan.
Once people will look at the quranic text in context of deen of islam and get meanings of words from dictionaries instead of nonsense of mullahs then like me they too will come to know message of the quran. But till people do that things will continue as they are or may get yet worse or ugly. In my view deen of islam is not the problem but a problem solver for humanity whereas people who claim to be muslims are the real problem who despite claiming to be muslims believe and practice what their mullahs tell them or whatever suits themselves and call it islam. They are to blame fully because they never study the quran as it ought to be studied. Nonmuslims are also to blame because they instead of studying the quran themselves properly and challenging muslims for their beliefs and practices against deen of islam blame deen of islam without really knowing what it is all about.
Not only we have problem with muslims but all versions of mazhab followers be they hindus or christians or whatever. It is because when we study their scriptures they too contain things which support the message of the quran. They too do not fit in with idea of mazhab because they contain statements which cannot be implemented or acted upon unless one takes them as political and economic messages just like the quran.
One only needs to see how can a people speak the truth if their society is set up in such a way that people are forced to lie? How can we stop a people from stealing in a society if a society is forcing poverty on some of its people by design? So I can go on and on. This shows very clearly why some people have twisted words of God to further their own agendas in the very name of God. I can criticise each and every version of mazhab severely. Not only that I can challenge secularism and democracy as well for its part in harm and destruction of humanity. This is why quran based deen of islam is the only worthy solution for mankind to adopt if they have wish for unity, peace, progress and prosperity of mankind.

1)insaanu ko sirf aur sirf Allah ki kitaab ke saath aham ahang hona chahiye aur jo koi khudaa ki kitaab ke mutaabiq koi baat kare ya kaam kare us ka saath dena chahiye. yahee asal deene islam hai. kisi insaan ke peechhe chalne se khudaa ki kitaab mana karti hai kyunkeh insaanu se agar jaan boojh ker qanoon shikni na bhi ho to ghalati to zaroor hi ho sakti hai. issi liye asal mayaar sirf aur sirf khudaa ki kitaab hi hai koi insaan nahin agarche ke woh khudaa ka sacha nabi hi ho. quraan ke sayaaqo sabaaq main quran main itaat ka lafz khudaa aur rasool ki nisbat zehni ahamahangi ke liye aaya hai yani logoon ko chahiye woh khudaa ke bataaye huwe afkaaro nazriyaat ke saath poori dilchasbi ke saath zehni tor per itifaaq karen apni ilmi aur aaqli bunyaad per apni marzi se. issi tarah rasool ki itibaa ka matlab bhi yahee hai keh log khudaa ke rasool ki madad karen yani saath den us mission ko kaamyaab banaane main jis ke saath woh khudaa ki taraf se bhaija gayaa hai. khuda ne kabhi bhi insaanu ko aik doosre ki ghulaami karne ke liye nahin kahaa.
2)deene islam insaanu ko aik ummat banane ki dawat deta hai khudayee mumlikat main aur insaan aik ummat ban hi nahin sakte aik mumlikat main jab tak khudaa ki kitaab ki khud main drust samajh boojh peda na karen. is ke liye sakht mehnat ki zaroorat hai kyunkeh aaj ham ko ye maloom hi nahin hai drust deene islam hai kia chahye is ki wajah kuchh bhi ho. log hamesha se apni apni jaga deene islam ko samajhne ki koshish kerte rehte hen aur apne apne afkaaro nazriyaat se aik doosre ko agaah karte rehte hen. inhi infiraadi koshishun se aik din log deene islam ki saheeh samajh haasil ker len ge aik doosre ki madad se tab tak ye silsila jaari rahe ga jaisa ham dekh rahe hen. insaanu ko khud khudaa hi ne anjaan peda kiya hai aur un ko ilm seekhte seekhte zindagiyan guzaarni chahiyen aur ikhtilaaf issi wajah se hota hai ke aik shakh ko aik baat samajh aati hai aur doosre ko waqt lagta hai agar woh seekhna chahye aur mehnat bhi kerni padti hai.
3)lihaaza ham ko her haal main shakhsiyaat parasti se door rehna chahiye aur ilm seekhte rehna chahiye. is baat ka ham ko hamesha khayaal rehna chahiye keh quraan ke baare main kisi bhi shakhs ki baat harfe aakhir nahin hai jab tak keh woh baat drust saabit na ki jaa sake sachayee ke mayaar ke ain mutaabiq. is ki wajah yeh hai quraan khudaa ki kitaab hai aur insaani afkaaro nazriyat badalte rehte hen ilmo aqal main izaafe ke saath saath. insaan peda hote hi aalim nahin hota balkeh duniya ki zindagi ke tajarbaat us ko ilm dete hen yahaan tak keh woh wahee ki zaroorat mehsoos kare aur us ko talaash kare phir us ko samjhe aur phir doosrun ko samjhaaye aur yun aik apni hamkhayaal duniya peda kare.
4)deene islam ke maamle main mullah to mullah sir syed, iqbal, jinnah, parwez waghera marhoomeen ki sab baaten bhi durst nahin hen magar un ki ikka dukka baat asal deene islam ko ham per ujaagar zaroor karti hai. misaal ke tor per sir syed ne logoon ko quraan ko duniya ke haqaaiq ki roshni main samajhne per zor diya. ye aik aisi baat hai jis ko jhutlaana kisi bade se bade mullah ke liye bhi mumkin nahin hai.
5)iqbal ne bhi ummat ko bataaya islam deen hai mazhab nahin hai. koi aik mullah bhi ye saabit nahin ker sakta islam mazhab hai deen nahin hai. yahee nahin iqbal ne ye bhi bataaya ke mullah ki shariat ka deene islam se koi taaluq nahin hai kyunkeh yeh malookiyati shariat hai yani baadshahoon ki mullah ke haathun ghadwayee hui shariat.
6)jinnah ne khud ko musalmaan kehlwaane waalun ko aik mulk de diya aur kahaa is ko islami mumlikat banaao mil jul ker aik doosre ki madad se. parwez ne jinnah ki is maamle main madad ki mullah ko dalaail se marghoob ker ke. lakin woh log to apna apna waqt guzaar ker is duniya se chale ge ab hamaari baari hai ham kia karte hen. main bhi apni taraf se koshish kerta rahaa hun deene islam ko khud theek tarah se samjh ker doosrun ko samjhaaon. zahir hai is koshish main mujh se bhi ghalatiyan ho rahee hen aur hun gi keh yeh kaam hi kuchh aisa hai. magar khudaa ne aqlo fiker sirf mujhe hi nahin diya auroon ko bhi diya hai lihaaza drust baat to logoon ko her haal main maanani hi pade gi aur ghalat baat ko unhen rad karna hi ho ga. ilm issi tarah aage bhadta rehta hai.
7)issi bunyaad per main sab ki baten logoon ke saath share kerta rehta hun jo ziyaada ter saheeh hun meri nazar main. main agar aisa na karun to khudaa aur logoon ki nazar main mujrim thehrta hun. haan agar kisi ko kissi baat ke samajhne main taraddad ho to us ko mazeed samajhne samjhaane ki koshish ki jaa sakti hai. yahee nahin agar kisi ko kisi ki baat ghalat maloom hoti ho aur woh baat ghalat saabit bhi ki jaa sake to us ko ham sab ko hi ghalat kehna aur maanana pade ga aur maanana chahiye bhi.
8)ikhtilaaf sirf duniya ke mulkoon hi ke darmiyaan nahin hota balkeh aik hi mulak ke mukhtalif shehrun aur gaaon main bhi hota hai. yahee nahin balkeh aik hi gaaon main mukhtalif khaandaanu main balkeh aik hi khaandaan main hota hai. baat yahaan hi nahin rukti balkeh aik hi zehn main yeh jang jaari rehti hai jab tak kisi darpesh masle ka hal saamne na aa jaaye. albatta her masle ka hal aqlo fiker hi hai wahee ki roshni main. yahee wajah hai wahee ko theek tarah se samajhne az bas laazmi hai warna logoon ke darmiyaan mojood ikhtilafaat ka koi hal bhi mumkin nahin hai jo sab ko qaable qabool ho aur sab ke liye faaida mand bhi ho.

azeezam ajazali sb, what you are saying is right but when you are one of the people you have their interest at heart as well. You want them to know better and do better. It is interaction between people that helps them change mentally and physically but hopefully for the better.

The reason other nations seek separation of church and state, or temple and state is because other religions lack direct guidance about everyday affairs, let alone matters of state. And the void is filled with tradition and customs which constantly need updates with changing times. For example, if a Christian brother wants to marry just the way Esa (AS) or Jesus (PBUH) married, he won?t be able to since Esa (AS) never married nor there is any record of his prescribed way. Similarly if a Hindu brother wants to follow the prescribed way of his Rama god for visiting sick, he won?t be able to because there is nothing prescribed by Rama for that.
On the other hand, Islam is a complete code of life. It has explicit instructions for life from cradle to grave. Be it travel, drought, economy, war, trade, health, government or whatever. The point I?m trying to make is that other nations do not have a choice but to separate religion from everyday affairs.

*In the Tafseer of this aayah, it is reported that Ibn ?Abbaas (may Allaah be pleased with him) said: ?The five daily prayers are (mentioned) in the Qur?aan.? He was asked, ?Where?? He said, ?Allaah says (interpretation of the meaning): *?So glorify Allaah when you come up to the evening? is maghrib and ?isha?; ?and when you enter the morning? is fajr*; ?in the afternoon?* is ?asr; and ?the time when the day begins to decline? is zuhr.? Other mufassireen, such as al-Dahhaak and Sa?eed ibn Jubayr said the same thing.
Some of the mufassireen said that these aayat mention only four of the prayers; ?isha? is not mentioned here, but it is mentioned in Soorat Hood, where Allaah says (interpretation of the meaning): ?? and in some hours of the night?? [Hood 11:114] **
Therefore we should inform Humanity of these facts first and foremost!
For the very first time, we have listened to some ideas/beliefs of jannat party and mughal sahib. It is true that mullahs distorted the real shape of Islam. It is also correct that Quran and its teachings must be at the very core of our deen but what you are talking about doesn't make any sense and is far away from Islam if mullah's islam is at north pole then you are on south pole. the real thing lies somewhere around equator. You keep on chanting slogan of Quran but you clearly are distorting its message and talking about something alien to it. you are trying to adjust Quran as per your own cooked up ideas.
was the means through whom the Noble Quran was revealed. His sayings and lifestyle and teachings are called Sunnah and Hadith. Now Quran teaches us again and again in various Surah to offer the salah (which you loosely seem to call “pooja pat”). The Quran does not teach us how this salah is to be performed, so where do we get this from? Yes the Sunnah and Hadith of the Prophet
