Lahore, there were many cultural drawbacks in India and one of the thing is that women were not treated equal. It is improving every day and it is not related to Hinduism.
For that matter every culture on earth has discriminated against women. I would not like to rake up this issue now, as you know you have a lot of garbage to clean up in your back yard.
