Re: What has Hinduism given to the world?
No other religion speaks anything about these. Realisation of the truth "Atma and Paramatma" and the chance that you can experience God when you are alive.
How many religions have you studied so far?????? Or you just wanna make a statement like any other?
You are highlighting spiritual aspects ONLY and trying to present them as a complete picture of Hinduism. What about other aspects?
I have never found any word equivalent to this in any other language. The nearest word is devotion, but still it is not bhakti. You can have devotion towards your job, master, but not Bhakti. It is a unique state of mind that you can experience only when you think like a Hindu. A non-hindu can never ever understand what "Bhakti" means.
O well, that is a pure exaggeration. I know what does Bhakti mean. It was a movement in pre-partition time.... remember that? or not :D
