Re: What has Hinduism given to the world?
Absolutely right description of Hinduistic theology. But the author looks even stupid in saying all this because this is a contradiction of their own faith. This contradicts ANY existance of GOD or gODS. Please see the following verses from their books....
"...Of that God you cannot make any images." Yajur Veda 3:32
"God is formless and bodiless" Yajur Veda 32:3
"All those who worship the uncreated things, they are in darkness, and you'll enter more into darkness if you worship the created things." Yajur Veda 40:8
"All Praise are to Him alone" Rig Veda Vol.8,1:1
"There is only One God, worship Him."
Rig Veda **
**Vol.6,45:16

I guess you are a guy from Pakistanidefence. There is a similar topic there.
The question there was, since these 4 verses say that God is one and only one and without any form, why do millions of Hindus worship so many idol gods ?
Look, there is one government in a country. You cant see it or feel it, but there are Finance minister, Defence minister, Trade minister, Social Welfare minister, and Prime minister, etc. that constitute the government.
Similarly, Lakshmi is the Goddess of wealth, Ganesh is the God of learning, Agni dev is the God of fire.
But in our government of Universe, there are 3 Prime ministers--Brahma (God of creation), Vishnu--God of sustenance, and Shiva--God of Destruction.
The word GOD fits these 3 gods as (Generator, Operator, Destroyer).
** Idol worship : Now Rig Ved says that God is formless and shapeless, so why do 840 million Hindus worship idols ? The 'God' that Rig Ved refers to is the Government f the universe, which is formless--just like UN or Pak government.
But just like you must have a poster of M A Jinnah or Mahatma Gandhi to appreciate them--hindus have idols to worship the ministers of that government of the universe.
