Musharraf was sent packing. Pakistan Khappay became a new buzzword,

what has changed for good since then, what has changed for worse, what has stayed the same pathetic state as it was.

I think army and ISI are working against extremism more than before. Even at the time of Musharraf, distinction was made between good and bad Taliban. This is why Saudi financing was allowed to continue in 2000’s.
But today this distinction does not seem to be there. Government is trying to remove taliban apologists. This is why JUIF is so mad. They did not get their favorite ministry, religious ministry. They were so mad that they even asked their Saudi masters to write a letter against the incumbent minister. But even that conspiracy with Saudi help did not work.

So I think as far as Taliban, this government’s record is more impressive than any governments before, including Musharraf’s army rule.
