The person I mentioned in my post is someone who is lowest of the low in my books, but I have not listed who he is to protect the victim, people will put two and two together quickly and the victim does not deserve it no matter how naive the actions and thinking was that landed her in the tough spot.
as we meet ppl in real life and get close to them as we get to know them more, its the same here. One has to do his/her due diligence

I think u’re only feeling like that because u returned to GS after a while, new people join all the time and it takes time before you get to know them.
I think it is interesting that we are quick to judge people as good or evil. As if we dictate morality, as though its an absolute. We all have reasons for doing what we do, there are many things that we can categorically say we do not agree with - but beyond that, we know nothing.
So far as Gossip is concerned, I agree with Munza.
Maybe because this is how I am, the way I talk and act on here is the same in real life [which can be good or bad :halo: ] but I firmly believe that if someone is a jerk or creep online, then they are the same in real life and if you didn’t meet them online, you would meet them in person. Those people tend to be two-faced and i have no respect or patience for them. I don’t think Gupshup should be blamed for someone’s evil actions. And as for gossip/judgemental behavior, hey if you dn’t show others the same courtesy, don’t expect the same from them

^ Well fraud very briefly referrd to someone, no names were mentioned so ppl who weren't involved would have no clue what happened and who was involved..whereas suroor's journal held back nothing, names named etc :P
I wrote that post because as guppies are meeting here and there, I want them to be alert and on their toes.
While the perp in my post is still around, sadly naming him would indicate who his victim was, and I just dont want her to go through that. If I had her permission, I would name his punk ass right now.
Naming him would help if someone else is in that specific situation or headed towards that with him, but it does nothing for others who may be a little too trusting. Giving this as an example just advises ppl that all is not hunky dory with everyone who posts here so just be careful as you would be in real life.
If someone wants to go jump in the well then by all means, Have fun.

And god forbid if you do say a few words of caution, then the only bad guy in the picture is You.
They'll proceed to have fun and involve themselves in situations that they later regret.
LB i have never cared about being seen as the good guy or the bad guy as long as I am doing and saying what I feel is the right thing. People could look at it as sincere advise, look at it and chuckle, or whatever. Its not my problem if they want to get involved with the wrong ppl, or get in situations that they will regret later.
people can be so naive, but some people know what they r getting into and still take the risk. lol, i dont even have chance to take that risk, no one lives in the chicagoland area.

I have met 4 chicago gupsters, rooster blues , his brother chachoo, eros and phoenix desi, although i did not know it was PD when I met him.
