Sorry people i know its a depressing subject but i’d like to know!!!
What happens to us at the moment of death?
What happens to our soul between the time of death and burial?
What happens to us while we are buried?
What happens if we die in our sleep?
our after life treatment depends on how we spent this time and were our deeds according to Quran o sunnah may Allah rabull izzat guide us to streight path (ameen)
Many years ago, I had seen a book which was a compilation of divine revelations and surreal stories of life after death. It was in Urdu and was titled:
* "Maut ka manzar - Marnay kay baad kiya hoga"
"The Face of Death - What Will happen after Death"*
Don't know if it is still available, or if, infact it is of any use. But I had all sorts of stories to what happened to people after they died. It explained in very detail, the torture in graves and in the hell-fire. The book was compiled from a religious (islamic) view point.

I read it too. Scary. How true? I don't know. I go mainly by whats in Quran and in the translation you don't find it. Everywhere, Allah ends the Ayats by saying that HE is Rehman ur Rahim. HE is forgiving.
This site contain Qurani Aieh subject wise and all related to life after death discuiss about Qiamah .
Thats Book Pris refered here is based on “Zoof Ahadhees” ,and i belive that after consulting “Al-Maurad”

after death body is not concerned ans it just be a waste ,Soul will be either in grave or in “Alim-e-burzkh” will be in condition of dreaming ,as if u are in horror dreaming you will some pain to breath and if you are in happy dreamings you feel satisfaction.so will be the case ,No "Azab-e-Kabur"snakes etc etc.
Becuase Allah said that “Qiamah” will be the judgement day and untill a person is not proved guilty ,he will not be punish .
Yeh Allah ke adil honey ka Taqaza hay ke woo aisa karey werna begger hisab ke Kabur weegera ka Azab deney ki surat mein Human Nature satisfied nahi hoti ke Adil kesey hoa .
Allah behtur janta hay ke haq kia hya mein ne woo butia jo mere ilm mein tha ,Leken better way yehi hay ke Najim ki saysing ko follow karein.
Allah humin haq baat sumjhney ki toofq de.

you should study para psychology.
it has done some research on people who have almost escaped death. They had amazing, similar experiences of unseen and unheard.
"Philosopher, Orator, Apostle, Legislator, Conqueror of Ideas, Restorer of Rational beliefs.... The founder of twenty terrestrial empires and of one spiritual empire that is Muhammad. As regards all standards by which human greatness may be measured, we may well ask, is there any man greater than he?"
