I mean are they still going to rebuild Iraq even If Saddam is not Caught ?? If Yes, Then When ??

Rebuilding Afghanistan is an ongoing project it will take years PA, and its going on now.

Highways and high rises in Afghanistan?? If there ever were these to begin with in Afghanistan, they were demolished by the 20 year war with Russia or the years-long bombardment of Kabul by the Pakistani-supplied Taliban.

It reads like a couple of ditches being put down.
Baghdad has a wonderful future that will outshine any former glory. Your common eye-raqi will be clamouring at the chance of a new coating of tar on the roads well worth the loss of family.
Rebuilding doesn not mean building automobile plants or fiber optics factories for Afghanistan. It means building some kind of workable institutions for the long term good of the country.
Even Allah can't build high rise building in Afghanistan. well, he could have already if it were possible.

I just find it all so trite, re-building after bombing, feeding after starving liberating then ruling.
I find most discussions quite crude and hackneyed. Far be it from me to suggest that the attempt at carrying the stars and stripes throughout this forum has been a miserable endeavour.
The reality of the situation speaks for itself, that sledge hammers have been used to free ‘butterflies’ from their chrysalises and I’m being generous here.
You can post all the lame links you like UTD, but without a solid foundation of common sense all you’ll get from me are simple replies in fitting with your party line.

I think it will take time. But it will happen. It will happen. I know it.
It took U.S.A. from 1776 to around 1840's and 1850's to invite people to mass immigrate. Or they left their home countries due to governmental rules they didn't like. Or they were poor looking for an opportunity, and they got it.
And those immigrants helped us to build our country. Under 100 years and people keep coming to this day. And they are still given that opportunity. It is there.

Yogi - Rebuilding means you leave the country at least in the same conditions (if not better) it was before the 'Operation Iraq Freedom' .
It means at least build all the buildings, hospitals, Houses, Offices, airports your Bombs destroyed.

??? Security is secured from whom ?? We have already assumed that Saddam is gone, Some Puppet govt is installed. Mighy US army is still there in the Gulf to secure. I mean how much secutiry you want and from whom ??
