Nothing bad happens they actually learn to not cry for everything they want.
Children’s brain start grasping stuff from a very little age like the age you mentioned and it’s actually good some of the times to say no to the kids.
I’ve seen parents doing everything the kid wanted and later on when the kid grew a bit more the difficulties were increased even more.
