Yep, that’s what my friend does. If it’s a event (like a wedding/bday party) or someplace where the crying/screaming is truly inappropriate, she will physically remove the kid from that location. But otherwise, yea she ignores them. I’ve been with her in restaurants, malls, grocery stores etc. plenty of times when a kid threw a fit. She simply ignores and continues doing what she’s doing…or simply stands/sits there/talks to whoever is with her/gets on her phone etc. She’s very capable of tuning out the screaming as well is other people’s dirty looks. Eventually the kid runs out of energy.

I would be too embarrassed to go out with her. Honest.
