i got a notification in my email saying that a particular guppan has sent me a friend request on gupshup forums.. i log in and there is no such friend request :S .. i even went to my buddy list edit page and everything but no… i dunno why this is happening .. could the guppan have somehow undo or removed the friend request? :S is she having second thoughts? :S i mean if you want to be my friend fine, no one is forcing you :S

If there is any option through which a user can undo or remove the request then probably that user has changed his/her mind. Doesn't matter

maybe a case of mistaken identity.. they might have misread your GS ID

no i am not mistaken!!!!! i know who the guppan is and she sent me the friend request because i got the email... and seriously aisha dubaiwali is such a unique nickname no is going to go through mistaken identity!!!!!!!

mehr i dont know let's see.. first i want answer from the techies!

Aisha, send yourself a request from one of your other IDs. Don't accept the offer with ADW nick. Then log into your other account again, go to your friend's list and uncheck the friendship with ADW and then log back with ADW and see what happens.

OMGGGGGGGGG i just tried it!! and it worked, when i logged in with nightingale and sent a request to aisha i logged out and logged into aisha and saw i had a req.. i logged out and logged into nightingale and deselected aisha and saved changes and logged back into aisha and the req was GONE!!! so means she did this but why??? :konfused::confused:

Now that question cannot be answered by mods/techies. The only person that can answer the question is the guppan :halo: My personal opinion is that you shouldn’t really care/worry about it. Whatever the reason may be, just move on without holding any grudges. If you still want to know why she changed her mind, send her a PM and find out. Once you find out the reason, let me know also :halo:

LOL! i am not holding grudges i mean out of all of a sudden i saw this friend request from this "PARTICULAR" guppan and then suddenly this happens, i am just curious to know what was going through her mind that is all. I am not arguing or fighting with anyone here.

eh.. alter egos are allowed?
