Something really weird has just happened to my daughters lips. I just sent her up to bed and literally 1 minute later she comes down and her lips are totally swollen. They look so fat.
A few minutes earlier to that she had complained about a pain on her tongue like when you bite your tongue and get a spot there that sort of pain. But she never bit her tongue or put any sort of cream on her lips.
I was just wondering what it could possibly be. Any ideas.
bug bite maybe? call yer doc to see if you need to make an ER run
she may be allergic to something
is it hurting? aching? are there spots on the lips as well? or just swollen? is the tongue swollen as well?
No. No pain or spots anywhere.
I thinnk i know what it might be actually. My other daughter just told me that she saw her putting one of those kinder surprise plastic eggs over her mouth, one half of the container and she was sucking it in with her mouth again and again. So i'm putting it down to that. Silly girl!

I agree allergy is one possibility. My daughter has dairy allergy and she breaks out in hives, eyes, lips swell up too. Try benedryll.
