Me too, I feel like JJ has a boy crush on amir khan, he seems really flattered to have met him (no offense)...and I noticed that reference too "boy" I mean he's not that young now, he makes it sound like he was a teenager.

JJ is forgetting he too was once where Aamir is now. Saying things like "islam to ghusny do" in public about someone will only make them detest you. This is backbiting. JJ should stick to sitting in the crowd, he has no authority nor the good character to give speeches.

Is it only me who thinks that the Tableeghi Jama'at is irrelevant in this day and age and the message of Islam needs to be spread in a more intellectual and mature manner.
I always felt that their methods were annoying and childish.
Still they have now millions and millions of followers world wild and in this video Junaid Jamshed is just tell what happened during those meetings so what is bad in it ?

Yes he was their and showed guts and left it and now changing life of others to so what's wrong if you can't something yourself than please let others do it rather than talking against them

By the way after the Hajj Amir Khan throw a lavish Diwali party which went far ahead then scheduled ... and ended next day !

Maulana Tariq Jameel is certainly not your ordinary tableeghi. He is an intellectual and makes superb sense whenever you listen to him. And his methods or examples or analagies are the ones that more intellectual crowd can relate to.

Didn’t his mom want to go only with him? And I didn’t know he had a brother. And no self respecting rich son would ever send his mom with a group, especially when there is a mahram sitting at him :astaghfar:

I don't know much about him and I'm not going to lie, I had stereotyped him as a typical tableeghi who's in your face and mean kinda guy... but I was surprised to hear JJ saying that he wasn't sitting there preaching Islam to Amir Khan which I thought was the only thing he would've been doing. Perhaps that is why Amir didn't feel intimidated and that worked somehow as he later on showed some interest in religious acts and the proper etiquette of namaaz. For me, there was a a very important lesson in there. I remember reading a post by Umer about how one person who didn't ask him to pray changed his whole life when all those who made him pray couldn't do that and achieved the exact opposite of what they were trying to get him to do.
So please lads don't undermine what JJ is trying to convey here by saying he's just showing off etc.

That is one aspect of his visit, but we never know why Allah had selected him as a Mehram of his mother. I believe Allah only invites to those who He wants to grant the privilege of Hajj. I dont think if we judge him on Mehram thingy.

I still think we are making too much out of a simple story.
I think some people would like to see a JJ type 'reversion' which I think is highly unlikely and even undesirable from the point of view of the people who do not agree with JJ's interpretation of Islam.
