ps. i do know what u mean, but it better if you consider several things in mind.

• gals usually try to hide their gender behind being a male.
• guys try to act like gal (if they are interested in cafe section), or if they wana have some fun.
• its a good experience for others to come up with balance opinion…cuz guys usually are more abusive towards other males, whereas they respectfully ask if the same thing is being asked by some female.
  but i strongly believe that respect should be given no matter whom ever u r addressing. (otherwise its a bias opinion…that is why in Pakistan they want us to put roll numbers on exam paper rather than our names )

I admit your falsafa makes sense , because I am so hungry and cannot think straight.
Then what we should do about the posters who will assume your gender on the basis of your nick and then the result is the same as you so skillfully elaborated above.
So if gender or no gender on display people will be biased based on your nick , then why not bring the gender display back so that at least those who want to address someone as bhai or bahan or uncle or autie would do it properly.
