hey Khushi.. the tradional is that ur hubby shud give u something on ur wedding night, and Im sure u will get a very cute gift from him.
Even I was thinking If I shud give my hubby a gift on wedding night,.. but u know what the best gift he will get is me. Yaar we r leaving everything behind us n going to become his foreva, from do dil to only one.
anyways, I will give him a biiiig suprise. I made a tattoo on my backbone a hot rose with mine and my hubby´s name. and I´ve just sent him anotha gift in advance a looooong letter like open diary about my past, my inside thoughts, my future, my sweet love 4 him etc.etc. + a dvd with animated photos with romantic music in background and it looks like a video with a lot of pics animation from childhood time on both of us to todays look.
So dont worry, If u give or skip u will get in any case something from him..

you'll already be giftwrapped in ur wedding suit and i doubt he'd have anything else on his mind... I was thinking of giving him a perfume from the Arabian Oud shop in Oxford St but after talking about it with a friend decided against it... i think id rather give him something a few days after when we've settled into each others lives together but not straight away, i dont want to seem overly keen but thats only coz were not so familiar with each other. But honestly speaking i think giving him myself is more then enuf! lol

Well, he got ME! hee hee ;) No, I didn't give him anything but ours was a completely arranged marriage and we didn't know a thing about each other. I don't think any of my friends gave their grooms anything. As far as I know, muh-dikhai is for brides only.
n he will throw out dat family planning books on her wife's head,,,lolzzzzzzz.pakistani hubby's main reason of marraige is only their FAMILY means bacheeeeee......
