How about good quality coffee if you have it daily .. its so hard to find a good one in pakistan :no:

Are you going to be cooking there? I think you get most stuff in Pakistan , depending on the area that you are living in … i will write some more ingredients as i remember them …

the only food i take with me is coffee. i’d rather enjoy the local food stuff than take stuff with me. also if you’re going to big cities, you can buy almost everything from there, even if you have to cook something from scratch.

oats are available like everywhere. it won’t be the instant stuff like quaker oats, but everyone knows what daliya is. not sure what you need in particular for fried chicken mix, but if it’s like flour and spices, again, better spices are there. heck fresh, nice spices are available even in some far off villages. vanilla essence get from there since the chances of it being slightly more halal are better. and like CB said baking powder is available everywhere. even at the corner shop

last time i was in pakistan my hubby got me some nescafe coffee! youve never seen it there?
and i agree most things are availble there, the only things i take are sweets or chocolate cos the chocolate over there, it may be the same like snickers or bounty,but it tastes really different and often it looks like its melted and then been put in the freezer and then out back out lol.

it’s there, i know it’s there..it’s just that i’m a super coffee addict and i have to have my cup first thing in the morning, and i just feel really weird asking whosever’s house i’m staying at to go get me a coffee jar and i’m just sitting on my arse like a queen. so it’s more for my convenience and stuff, and not cuz i’ve never seen it. heck my cousin knows i’m such an addict she had a tiny jar bought just for me…awww!
