I wanna buy a new one in Canada. I currently use something I got from walmart which has been pretty good for my hair so far. But i’m moving to karachi so I was hoping for something with more power…

GHD. I dont know if you can get it in Canada. Its the bees knees.
Silky, straight hair in a matter of mins but it is pricey. I paid £100 for mine.

Agreed - I have the GHD also and would highly recommend it if you can get hold of one. It straightens like a dream. Although I don't straighten my hair very often so as to minimise any damage it may cause to the hair.
They are pricey but well worth it in the long run - make sure that when you buy them you register them on the GHD website, so should anything go wrong you are entitled to free repair or a replacement straightener.
Cheaper alternatives probably are good - but it's a case of doing your research. Read reviews on-line for any model of straightener you're considering buying.

i have the sedu, i ordered it online and got it for $130. it's pricey, but not the priciest and it works amazingly, it's everything you'd want in an iron.

i need something that can work in pakistan as well... do they come in dual voltage?
They have dual voltage straightners, but I don’t see any good one. However, if you want to get one only for pakistan than they have the sedu 1" 220v with type C plug. Good I checked! I was sooo worried I wouldn’t be able to use sedu in pakistan. :halo:

Sedu is best but GHD 5 series is dual voltage auto shut off and straightner culrler in one

Have u used your sedu in Pakistan? I looked at the website and the C plug seems different from the round ones we have… I might have to get another plug in pakistan to plug the iron in..
