looks like jamevar to me. usually benarasi is more stiff (i think)

oh i didnt know you were getting married, good luck, hope your life partner will be very respectful and loving...back to the fabric, well sorry, i dont know much about fabrics but it seemed like banarsi to me.

umm ulta kar kay dikhao. cuz that's how you can tell. jamawar is usually silk with an almost self-print to it. banarsi's got the design in a different color, and its got a distinct pattern on the back. these days, banarsi and jamawar is all rolled into one and called kundan zari. its all the rage now.

mujhay tho brocade kay khandaan ka lagraha hai.. but a very light brocade.

Sara you don't want to go with this material for a wedding dress, go for banarsi, silk, or lace material; it has more flow/fall and will make a really pretty gharara/sharara.

Lusi: actually.... brocade is a pretty good fabric, especially for a gharara!

Sara.. if u are going for a lehnga.. then brocade wouldnt be a good choice, even if its the light kind cuz it will still have that "rigidness" to it. lekin if u are leaning towards having a gharara made... then go for it!
