I think he does not need such acknowledgment, in case he would see for one , he will be never awarded for his worship but may be instead punished by AlMighty Allah.

He prayes for himself not for us to appriciate him.

What message OP wants to give us is ,

If such a handicaped person offers prayers , then why should'nt we pray?
