Re: What exactly does Rose Water do for your skin?
I'm not sure if standard grocery shop rose water is even good, its mostly all synthetic with just flavouring, not at all rose water, maybe that's why the other girl had a tomato face. the trick is to find proper rose water

can anyone recommend somewhere I can get rose water in the UK? Boots have thisbut I don’t know if its pure rose water or with added stuff. Is the stuff in desi shops any good? How do I know if its good quality stuff?
Re: What exactly does Rose Water do for your skin?
Well I have got the normal desi stuff and it seems fine to me. I used it on my face after all these comments and it feels nice. My face seems to have evened out in tone, but that could be anything but probably bcos of the rosewater.
Re: What exactly does Rose Water do for your skin?
Dont really know firbird how you can get the real one .. I just use the one I got in a large bottle from the desi store .... i didnt know boots have it too , I am sure they sell is freaking expensive ...

Re: What exactly does Rose Water do for your skin?
8 QUID?!?!?!?!? From Boots???
I spend around £50 on the amanda lacey one… ![]()
But it is 100% persian rosewater… i don’t want to use one with other stuff in it…
Re: What exactly does Rose Water do for your skin?
ermm..... I was just about to use it, until I read the last comment^
does it matter which rose water u use Gina?
^ lol same, I'm a bit confused now... £8 isn't a lot for a toner but for something which is £1.50 at a desi shop......
Re: What exactly does Rose Water do for your skin?
Btw, what's the difference between rose water and rose oil? (Other than one being an oil and one water!) Someone brought me back some rose oil from Morroco and I don't know where/how to use it as it's really strong. Any suggestions for any good use?
For the record, I use regular desi rose water and it works great - my complexion has really brightened!
Re: What exactly does Rose Water do for your skin?
I got Dabur, imported from Dubai, sold in the desi store really cheap, must be less than £2.
Re: What exactly does Rose Water do for your skin?
yup i use standard desi rose water and its been working wonders =D
Re: What exactly does Rose Water do for your skin?
The one that i use is “100% organic Persian Rose Oil”… but you can use it on your face… that’s what it’s marketed as… ![]()
Re: What exactly does Rose Water do for your skin?

Re: What exactly does Rose Water do for your skin?
Maybe it's a placebo effect but I swear i've ben using it for a week and my face looks mroe even-toned.
Re: What exactly does Rose Water do for your skin?
^ Well if it is, then its a VERY good placebo, cos I got the same effect too.
