What era describes YOU?

I have a thing for the 60’s Twiggy inspired looks.

Super dramatic eyes…thick eyeliner…long lashes with a muted lip.

Similarly…the 1950’s siren-red lips

What is your era?

I quite like the 1940s style that Dita Von Teese has got going on

Re: What era describes YOU?

do u think the trend in 1990s was really ugly?i somewhat feel people lost sense of dressing in that era.

i am a hippie.hippies didnt evolve.

Re: What era describes YOU?

I don’t think I really have one. But maybe 1950’s but think more Betty Draper from Mad Men than Marilyn.

Re: What era describes YOU?

Pretty modern... mostly 2000s, and the wide legged trousers and oversized tops of 70s.

Re: What era describes YOU?

I like the 60s 'sex kitten' look.. big hair, big eyes.. Brigitte Bardot (but I detest her as a person), Raquel Welch..

Also, quite different but love Sophia Loren's vintage looks as well..

Re: What era describes YOU?

I like 60s look.

^I heart jumpsuits....mullet was in trend in 90s.

Re: What era describes YOU?

when it comes to values, i'm in the 1900's and when it comes to 'other stuff', ;) you know what i mean, i find myself in the 2200's :) **i'm slightly ahead and nominally behind my 'time'!**** :D**

Re: What era describes YOU?

Early 1990s was all about simplicity wasn't it after the excess of the 80s.. Kate Moss and the whole waif look then came heroin chic..

Re: What era describes YOU?

stoppit...I so see you as Betty Draper...

Re: What era describes YOU?

I I really don't have one. 2011's long maxi's and long shirts with churidar...

Re: What era describes YOU?

Thanks, although I hope only in style/look!

Re: What era describes YOU?

This exactly. The late 60s also brought straight hair which I really love. It ventured into the 70s too but I’m not a fan of 70s makeup. I also noticed the GORGEOUS packaging of makeup in the 60s. It was always tin/metal and plastic was hardly used. It was SO glam and “hefty”. Now that kind of packaging is exclusive to high-end/luxe makeup brands. :nook:
