What else to do in Regina, SK?

I will be in Regina for two weeks. It seems like a really small town to me, like smaller than Mississauga or Brampton. Anything a person can do like after work hours or may be on weekend. I know Calgary is 7 hours from Regina and I am thinking of going there over the weekend, but what is in Regina, any meuseums or parks.

I know its a boring place, surrounded by wheat fields.
