The above is a perfect example of the disease know as "blame everyone but the jihadis". Selective blindness is one of it's major symptoms.
Which means, to ignore killing of 22 tribals, a number of soldiers and other civilians, kidnapping, public execution, threat to peshawar, torching of numerous schools, shops etc. within the last couple of days by the jihadi taliban and to bring in any other excuse to justify jihadi crimes.
Really, it's quite an amazing disease. Taliban could be invading Islamabad, but victims of this disease will somehow find anything else in the world to divert attention and blame to.
