Do you have days, weeks even, when you are a healthy eating star? You avoid the cupcakes, you order the salad, you say no thanks to the cookies–and then something sets you off. Stress? Work? A messy house? The TV? What makes you overeat?

i eat junk when im bored, junk as in cakes, chocs, not burgers or chips though, generally i consider myself to be a healthy eater, but when im bored out comes the cookie tin.......
If I really like a particular thing or am craving that thing at the moment, thats also when I will overeat a food item. There is no rhyme or reason as to what triggers it, because its not a case for me where I overeat just when I am bored or anxious. I dont overeat that often but when I do its usually because I have not eaten a proper meal earlier or because like I said, I have been craving that thing for a while or I am eating out.
erm i guess its the boredom and stress.......... when im really stressed or depressed i should I Do eat Alot.......
I've noticed when im happy n busy........ I normally eat less and actually food is not on my mind at all.
when im bored i gues..and like if im at home all day..i literally am a couch potato and i keep eating lol...its so bad..but i love it when ur busy cos u eat in the right way..
I overeat when I am not dieting or when its som special occasion and alot of good food around, I tend to let myself losse a lit conscious and eat without thinking, but rest of the days I am very conscious abt what I eat
PMS. I cant get enough to eat when I have PMS. Also when I was breastfeeding. I dont go for the sweet stuff, I'm definitely a meat-a-saurus so give me a huge steak, baked potato with lotsa butter and sour cream....and a big bowl of broccoli with cheese sauce to go along with it. Instead of dessert, repeat the complete steak dinner and thats the cure for mama's PMS.
At this very moment I am eating an overpriced salad to make up for last night’s not so healthy snack. Not that I don’t enjoy salads - but paying way too much for it is my way of reminding myself that had I not had the chips, I would be a little closer to buying the shoes I have been lusting over.
But generally, it’s not that I overeat - rather I’ll eat stuff that’s not good for me (a million calories in that sliver of dark chocolate truffle cake, accompanied with pistachio ice-cream ).
I’ll do it for one of two reasons - either I’m bored or the food is too yummy to say no to. Why are the all the tastiest things in life so fattening :hinna:

i never have 'salad days' or 'dessert days'; i basically eat a mix of things i like everyday so it never feels like im depriving myself of anything. like today i had chicken, tabbouli and like 10 dove mini chocolates for dinner. That said, if I'm eating a TON of food and having crazy late night cravings, that usually means THAT TIME is gonna start soon. Or it means I'm at a dawat :)
