nothing to be impressed about brother…its my language…i know ..

bird is pakheruu…but its more of a literary/archaic word nowadays…with proliferation of urdu at all levels…mostly its called a parinda…(i never used word pakheru…used to call it parinda..and heard the same…) grandpa used to use some of these words…but nowadays, its almost non-existent in current spoken punjabi.

What about Pakhi which is used in Sindhi for bird and I think in Punabi they say Pakhi Pakheru.
