What should one do, with an incomplete degree to support the household? I need tips, ideas. Thanks

Complete the degree, if that's possible. Create a strong resume/portfolio and apply to various places. If you know of people (friends/relos/professors/former cowrkers) who have connections.....then talk to them about helping you out. Be careful with how you spend your money....make smarter purchases that will help you save more money....and separate your needs from your wants when it comes to buying things.

set a goal, do your level best to achieve that and then handle your affairs wisely...avoid temptations and never let your target slip away from your sight. :) Good Luck.

Little bit more info could help
1) what degree were you pursuing
2) How close are you to completing it?
3) Dp you currently have a job (I guess not)
4) how many people do you have to support?
5) Do you owe any debt?
6) Is the house you are living in rented or own ( and is it paid for?)

If you prefer not to divulge these, then first get a job, do well in it, gain your employer's trust, then see if you can finish your degree taking night classes.

Most important, get the process started. Looks like you are afraid - and it is natural to feel some fear. But use the fear as your motivation, face it head on, and just do things one at a time.

Get your resume ready, have it proof read by someone whose writing skills you respect, have a few experienced people look it over and give suggestsions, send them out, deveopl contacts, just do it.

okay first off buddy make a list of problems. Brainstorm it..trust me it works!. For example, lets say you're brainstorming about finishing your degree..make a plan B. Something like this:

Degree completed?--If no then--plan B what sort of small certifications you can do in a meanwhile which would elevate your possibility to get proper job..make a flow chart yo!..

And for your finances brainstorm what you can do in the mean time. For example if you don't have job..do odd jobs if need be to make your ends meet. Insha'allah Allah will make it easier for you. You just have to keep moving my friend. Just remember you are not the only one who is going through problems there are millions people like that...Best of wishes!

Go back to school part time and make this a long term goal if its not financially possible to go full time.

In the meantime...I'd just initiate something on my own. Find or develop a skill and tap into it.

after reading CF's post i was thinking same as Xtron.

If it is hard for you to complete degree I will suggest you to pursue some skills like laboratory technician, photographer, pharmaceutical billing, etc.

one can earn decent amount of money in short period of time.

you can still complete your degree by taking some online classes and support your family.

I'd get those who are able to work in the household off their backsides and working as well.. one person shouldn't have to shoulder all the burden if there are others who can also help..

Completing your degree will cost you more money, forget that, seems like you need to start making money right now?

List your skills, what your really good at, what your happy doing, what your options for work earning money are.

Working from home is an option too. Onlne business is growing, what can you make/buy and sell online for a profit? What service can you provide?

Look for certifications/short courses that you can take. They aren't as expensive as a full degree, but if you choose wisely they can translate into a decent job.
