it’s time that young Muslims get to have decisive debates and consultations about their own systems and how people like ourselves, who are educated in the countries we are in, can design and implement universal systems of collaboration based on trust and not have history repeat examples like Iraq, Iran, Afghanistan, Lebanon and other Muslims countries which are occupied and bullied around.
People like Drs. Azizhah Alhibri and Tariq Ramadan are great role models for us younger generations of Muslims in societal, religious debates.
Hope is that we can do our part in strengthening ourselves and also win over other people, who have been fed ignorant ideas about Muslim women and men as a people.
over all, i personally am positive as an educated, female Musalimah. but, i also do not believe in being cocooned in a shell of apathy, regarding whatever does not directly affect me, i should not question it, when it comes to misery and injustice brought on in the world to innocent and helpless lives, and nations, we, who are well placed, have an obligation to do whatever we can, to denounce such exploitation.
May Allah be on our side, amen.
