what does "matarva" mean

i think its some desi racist slang but im not sure which ethnicity it refers to and where this word took root from :confused:

some ppl were using this word and i cudnt figure it out…no-one i know knew …but since we’ve got some highly well informed ppl on GS i thought i’d ask here :smiley:

i dont know what the literal meaning of matarwa is but ppl do use it in the sense of someone who is urdu speaking or my be more specifically a mahajar from india(once again i m not sure about it). y r u so much interested in this word :p

Matarava = Hindoostora = Urdu Speaking.

Sometimes used by Punjabis.

Some Matarwas are Matoos, and other are not.
