I know girls are groomed to dream about their weddings…what they will wear, what he will wear, what the decor will be, what music will be played as she enters and as he enters, yada yada yada…
But how many gals have considered and even enquired about what HE wants you to look like, wear, etc at the wedding?
Have you?
Did he have an opinion?
Perhaps some of the GS bachelors would like to tell us what colour they want to see their brides in..what style of outfit: gharara or lehnga or dress…maybe they can share with us if they like her hair up or down, in flowing curls or silky and straight…
i asked my hubby about the colour of my lengha n he wanted shocking pink for me... n i wore shocking pink.........it was so nice i dressed according to him n he according to me......... v were in different countries but all wedding preparation was fun for both of us....

I have.
He wants simplicity ... no big opinion on color. Luckily for us, I agree. Now if I can only find a dress that's simple .... OTT seems to be in vogue these days.
One thing on behalf of girls that guys are not good in color combination and dont keep up with latest fashions, so really if the bride-to-be does not ask her fiance, its really not a big deal.
My other half wants me to wear a light colour, he did ask about baby pink but I'm prob going cream with multicoloured kaam, he's really into all the bridal stuff, perhaps also cos it's a novelty for him being non-desi, loves flicking thru the Asiana mags :D
me either! he was very involved in all our planning - from venue to cake to menu to decor elements - except my dress. he didn’t know anything about it except the colours.
of course he also wanted to pick out his own tux because he said it was only fair since he wasn’t seeing my dress but yeah, that was so not happening! haha
Re: fashion
I can understand a preference for after-wedding stuff (yes i am talking about THAT), but unless im making him dress like a gay clown on the big day(s), please, let me wear what I wanna wear and u wear a nice classy black/white jora. Thats all.
Honestly speaking these dulhan look more like an alien than a human . Ok whey can’t they be normal on wedding day . Nicely dress doesn’t mean to wear something that you never ever ever wore all your life . If a groom can wear shalwar kameez or suite that is wearable on any other ordinary day , then why not bride . Its waste of time and money . Plus its so cartoonish to see six other girls helping her out to carry that dress .
and yea whats with the makeup . She looks more like a clown , with red cheeks and white all over the face . I think the only thing missing is a red nose
Ok now how I would like it . Hmmm . . . As simple as possible . So it feel like you are marrying a human and not a clown .
I asked him and got something that both me and him liked for the first day.. he wasn't bothered about the second day at all.. He also honored my and his mom's wish and wore a sherwani on barat although he didn't want to originally.
