yes…in modern highrise residential buildings, you will find a ‘STUDIO’ or ‘BACHELORETTE’ apartment in which a bedroom has a kitchenette and a small bathroom with of course a standing shower or even a bath tub.
Noor JahaN did NOT own the apartment. it was owned by Muslim Waqf Board. when she was leaving for Pakistan, she asked her friend, my Uncle SaGheer Usmani who wrote the story and dialogues for the legendary movie ‘ChaudhviN kaa Chaand’. my cousins have lived in that apartment ever since.
