most probably it's >>>> property, or something valuable that belongs to another, and that is in one's safekeeping.

**amaanat means "property kept in trust"...if a man says to a woman "tum meri amaanat ho" then it means she is his until she marries him. He, in other words, considers her to be his bride to be. :)

No, loan is different. It is Qarz or Udhaar.

In Amanat, you are not really supposed to use the item. It is keepsake.

In Loan, you use the item and return after sometime.
