if a person says he’s in a relationship because his ex started dating around, do you think he’s saying it as it is, or does he just want to get back at her? shouldn’t he say that he met someone else instead of blaming it on his ex? what do you think?

If you are not interested in getting back then it does not matter. If you are interested then there is only one way to find out...ask him.

Well, is she his ex b/c she started dating around, i..e, cheating? or did they already break up and she appeared to have moved on so he felt he should move on as well?

samraali, I wasn't making personal attacks. I was merely remarking upon the paradox of what you said i.e. guy are easy to figure out, I second that, and yet most of the guys you knew just wanted to get into pants. Oh what a cliche' this is.
