Who do you think will win and by what margin?
I'm going for a 3/2 win for Pakistan. Indian batting is superior no doubt, but we have all-rounders like Razzaq, Moin and Shoaib Malik who are capable of destroying India's mediocre bowling which will balance things somewhat.
Incidentally, our own bowling isn't all it's cracked up to be right now despite Inzimam making his customary dull-witted remarks about how superior it is to India's. Shoaib is head and shoulders above the rest, but Sami has been struggling lately and Shabbir is still developing. This Irfan pathan sounds like a danger from India's side so let's see. it's going to be a great contest but in front of a home crowd I think we'll just have the edge.
What it will probably come down to is this: will any of our top order batsmen be able to answer Tendulkar in a like fashion when he starts cutting loose - which he definitely will? Saeed Anwar used to be the man, are Inzi or Yoyo ready to take up the challenge?

The key to Pakistan's sucess in bowling will be how Sami performs. As Xtreme said above Shoaib is head and shoulders above the rest. It therefore will be up to Sami to create pressure from the other end. If he can bowl well in tandem with Shoaib we will be well on our way to win the series.
Ehsan, apart from the bowling the other key element for us is how we answer the Sachin Blast Factor. By that I mean a player who if he stays in can take the game away from the opposition in the space of 8-10 overs. I don't see any of our top order doing it unless Afridi comes off ( a big if) but the likes of Razzaq, Malik and Moin might make up the difference down the order.
SiO I see a well-balanced contest with home advantage hopefully swinging things our way.
Yes I agree, but If both Shoaib and Sami are bowling in tandem than hopefully they will be able to contain Sachin. If one or both of them are not firing on full cylinders than Sachin will take advantage of the situation. Just like in the WC when Shoaib could not bowl well from his end and Sachin took the game away from Pakistan.
To me the key for the Pakistanis is the bowling and how our bowlers contain the Indians. Otherwise even if we put up a score of 300 it is not going to be enough, keeping in mind the Indian batting line up.
Certain it will be 4-1 for Pakistan.. I have played all 5 ODI and this is my analysis with Moin Khan and Inzi playing the important role beside the others. 
India.. 3-2. Dun ask me how I got to this conclusion.. I just did!
animaa.. i m pretyt sure that after this series no 1 will say afridi should be out of the team
ehsan bhai… what about the option for India winning by 4-1. The options you have given suggests that if India wins the first four matches, in the fifth match there will be a phadda and the series will end 4-0

Most ppl think that It will be Pakistan winning 3-2. I have voted for that too but with some reservations.
I agree with Xtreme that Indian batting is balanced by pakistani late order hitting by Moin, Razzaq and Shoaib Malik. But that too depends on how big a score we chase if we bat second. And it cannot be emphasized more that it all boils down to how Pakistani bowlers fare agaisnt Indian Batting.
