I’m surprised there is no thread on this… What do you think about it?
Re: What do you think of George Galloway's election?
It could only benefit us since he has always been a strong advocate of the muslim community. So it would mean we would have a good voice in westminster. If im correct, hes married to a muslim afghani. But sometimes, he tends to think with his emotions instead of logic and can get carried away. Also, when the whole MP expenses thing went down, he spoke out big time against it so maybe they need someone like him in parliament.

support him and think his victory is truly amazing.

I think he's great, even with his flaws (big brother fiasco) he is so charasmatic, he has that personality that draws you to him, love his wit, listening to his radio channels on youtube has me in stitches, but the best was his performance in the Senate, it really was a delight to watch. Well done Bradford ! the man's a star

The guy deserves a chance to prove himself and hopefully wont screw up like most of the other muppets.

Muppets! I like that!![]()
Re: What do you think of George Galloway's election?
I am glad that the 3 main parties took a battering, but the fact the 11000 people registered to vote by post does concern me a little. The postal vote system is wide open to abuse and has no place in UK politics.

I agree totally, he's a really good guy. He's always been pro-Muslim, I remember once he made a speech about Israel-Palestine and how he was pro-Palestine and was basically cussing the Americans.

He married wife no.4 a couple of weeks ago.. just 4 months after the last one gave birth to his second son.. No.4 is Dutch (of Indonesian descent).. No.3 was Lebanese and No.2 was Palestinian.. No.1 was English..
No. 3 is furious about the new marriage, told the papers she hasn't been divorced yet.. George of course doesn't like to talk about his personal life..
Am not sure if someone with such a messy personal life is necessarily the right spokesperson for Muslims in the UK.. who else is going to take him seriously?

wow. didnt know he had such marital problems. Big georgie is a pimp - who would have thought it :D?? Bill clinton had a messy personal life, but still ended up being one of the best American presidents there ever was. As long as it doesnt effect their professional life why should it bother us?? Bear in mind that George himself - although he has always sided with muslims, he isnt muslim himself so his moral compass will be a little different from ours
Re: What do you think of George Galloway’s election?
Mr. Galloway is an honest British person … leave aside his personal matters that are of no concern to us … he is not a spokesperson for Muslims that is so silly … See what he says in this video …

Georgie on Question Time.
The audience is hostile to him and supports Aaronovitch
