my designer is (nomi) is putting something like this at the bottom of my lengha. this is just a picture of a random skirt not my lengha of course but the lae thing thats coming out is really cute so hes adding that what do u all think?

ok so about the lace, it all depends on heavy your lehnga is itself
it may look nice ....do you have a picture of what your lehnga will look like, or close to it ?

If the designer is doing it himself then it would look great - My Sister got her designed from HSY and what he said was at times beyond our comprehension but the out come was great! every person who saw the outfit loved it and complimented her.

ooh do you have pics of it! the designer chose to do this himself and i said ok! so i hope it turns out nice he said my kameez will be full of kaam then my lengha will have come coming up kinda like that skirt and then that lace thing underneath and my dupatta is red and my lengha and kameez are magenta with accents of ferozi/acid green

Depends on the cut and length of your lengha. As long as it is not too long, I think it could look nice.

NAh it would look good on a lengha which has loner length as well.but it would only make sense if one can see the inner lace..since thats the moto of the design.

its a big trend in white wedding dresses these days and it looks STUNNING on those... i think it'll look good on yours too so long as the lace is just as rich as the rest of the fabric/kaam.

Pakifairy, not sure if you had a look at my walima dress on my blog, but the my lengha had huge netting underneath as well. Was a bit difficult to walk in as it was so heavy and had to kick everytime i took a step forward, but it turned out ok in the end AH. Will post some more pics later of the full dress so you know what i am talking about.
But it looks really nice - it will turn out amazing inshallah - whens the wedding btw?

Pakfairy, i think it will look fine, i have something similar on my maria b lengha, those big designs on the skirt are on most lenghas at the moment with the lace at the bottom, saw alot of them in lahore when i was there a few months ago.
