Hakuna, I told you I partially understand that song. I am completely sure that this “word to word” translation you have provided is some brand new song or hidden desires of some man but surely not the song in question. If you cannot provide accurate meaning and words then please forget about it.

@Hakuna_Matata Thanks bro, what a beautiful translation you did! :k: @Mystique This is line is from a famous phrase by Navjot Singh Sidhu, a cricketer turned politician. It wrongly wrote gilli in place of killi thinking it’s gilli as he was a bowler, I don’t know it’s meaning.

I did not know the exact meaning. I suppose it is spoken to encourage somebody to do the task or to express happiness. I seached on net, it says, “pick up the wooden planks”

lol, o baba jee this is an accurate meaning of this song… this is actually an old song, maybe of 60’s by Madam Noor Jehan and I guess written by Akbar ALLAHabadi.. composer was GA chishti or Wazir Bakhshi.. I’ll inform you later..

hmmm, killi have various meanings like… hanger, accelerator, a pin used in broaching shafts, a rod hammered in ground which is used to knot the ropes with for horses, buffalos, cattles, etc, nest, a knob, etc etc…
