I was called for an interview by Emirates airlines.At the end of the interview when i asked them how long could i expect hearing from them,they told me within 2 weeks,but it’s been 2 weeks now,and I haven’t heard from them.But when i check my application online,I see its status being as ‘Under Review’.What does that mean?Can I still keep the hopes alive to hear from them?

Waterfall, well i really wish you goodluck and I really hope you get the job but since you have asked this question and i am going to be brutally honest here, being in management it goes from company to company but generally if you dont get a response within the first week or sometimes early second week it generally is a NO. Khair i hope that is not the case here and they are still considering you and InshaAllah you get a positive response.

But I heard it usually takes them around 3 weeks to get in touch after the interview,isn’t it?

thats what i am saying, it goes from company to company, there are internal processes sometimes that take a lil longer, however i am just stating the norm. However on the flip side sometimes if they like you they do take some time to do the necessry background checks, one way of finding that out is contact your references if someone got in touch with them :k:
