I prefer walking in sehan of my house or on treadmill. My time issues does not allow me to go to gym :(

i prefer working out to a DVD it not only gives me a complete workout but saves the money on a gym membership and besides with my schedule i'm pretty sure if i joined a gym i wouldn't be going as that much

My routine doesn't require a lot of exercising equipment except a treadmill. Also because I like to workout alone, since this is the only time I get to concentrate on myself.
I prefer to memorize routines rather than watch a dvd, I just find it distracting somehow.
I do pilates and yoga alone but aerobics is something I would rather take classes of because it just needs that fast rhythm and it helps to be around others to keep up.

Going to the gym and working out with my trainer.
1) I don't have to think about/plan out what to do. I just do what my trainer tells me to do.
2) I don't have enough self-discipline to go on my own OR do anything at my house. My trainer keeps me motivated and gets on my case if I skip too many days.
3) Personally, I do a lot of sets with heavy weights....I would not be able to do those sets on home or without a spotter at the gym b/c of risk of injury.
4) Whatever workout I do.....if I'm doing it wrong, I have a professional right there telling me how to do it the right way.

For jogging...I prefer outside as opposed to a treadmill or the gym. I like the fresh air the and movement isn't so restricted, so you get a change of scenery.
But I also got a spin bike recently and I like that as well....it's small....put on the radio and pedal away.
Not too crazy about gyms...I like having my privacy while working out.

I added walking 2 miles (1 mile each way) to my routine but that isn't enough for me. I think one of the reasons I haven't built up an exercise regimen is because of the weather: you can start it in the summer but winter comes and there is snow and goodbye gym.

Yes only if you can find a true desi wife who shares that idea. I know an aunty who does exercise (lost a lot of weight) but then it is just her her and her husband as all the kids are either married or in college out of state.
