you need a break, go out for 10-15 mints, or go to canteen and have some coffee, read news papaer, pick a topic and talk to some office boy or any driver, and convince them that they are wrong ... when you start feeling proud ... come back to your desk and start working ...

Amber, I always have non productive days unless I’m under pressure or close to deadlines at work. But still I manage to go out for a 10-15 minutes walk. I have some very close friends at work so I chat with them too. Besides Internet etc.
I start my office day from coffee & bbc.com - perfect start.

No one can work straight 8 hrs - doesn’t matter if its home or office.
walk does help a lot - good break :k:

Take a Holiday when you get the chance.

If not then taking a siesta helps, even if I don't fall asleep just shuting my eyes and relaxing helps.
