… about men and women getting naked in movies for sexual acts for which they are paid? Isn’t this prostitution as even in the real world, if you stand outside a street corner and get some wham bham thank you ma’am for money then you can be arrested.
PS Please don’t give me the standard feminist line that all prostitutes are exploited blah blah. I don’t think the eliot spitzer call girl was being forced against her will to have a sex for cash relationship with the former governor.
Well then the prostitution analogy is limited to cases where the sex isnt simulated. In those specific cases I'd agree, there isnt a lot of difference.

Good. Half way there.
So there has to be a way to tell where sex is simulated and where it is not, before one can determine if this was or not prostitution?
You suggest 'tissue test' or something else?
Remember, the definition does not involve weather it was simulated or not.
I have watched a lot of TV and a lot of movies in my life, and I dont recall, ever, seeing an act of sex which I did not know, absolutely for sure, that the sex was simulated.
I dont know what kind of TV/movies you guys have been watching.

Here you are not being honest. There is no need to be sure, just need to know sex or sexual gratification is being sold. :p
OK. Another one.
If a real prostitute fakes and 'simulates' sex in bed (most perhaps do since it would be so business like for them), and the guy did not like her too and 'simulated' just not to break her heart.
Hang on. In what way was I not being honest. I told you that I have seen a lot of tv and a lot of movies, and I dont recall every seeing any act of sex that I wasnt absolutely sure of being simulated. Please specify which part of this you think I am not being honest about, and on what basis you say so.
Where movies dont simulate the sex, it is generally publicized because it actually helps ratings. See this list. Pretty short list, pretty obscure movies.
Simulated sex refers to whether sex happens in a legal sense, not the intention or mindset of the actors.
Try not sway the discussion on other direction. Stick to your word of simulation for now and we can deal with rating based on what is claimed on simulation or not… later.
That’s where you are not honest.
Two negatives in sentence makes it as if you WERE ABSOLUTELY SURE that sex was simulated.
**There is no absolute surety if sex seen on TV/Movie is simulated or not. **
You made a big claim out of nowhere. Just like you almost always do to entertain readers.
Since you cannot and can NEVER tell for sure, then you were not being honest and just wanted to win the argument on false pretense. :hehe:
Sigh. Your struggles with the english language continue. The two negatives indicate that I was never in a state where I was unsure of whether or not the sex was simulated. This is just to say that I have not seen any movie from that rather short and obscure list of movies I posted where the sex was unsimulated.
Haha. Sure. And maybe all the buildings you see exploding in the movies actually explode too! Maybe New York was actually flooded when I saw the Day after Tomorrow! Maybe there are aliens after all that they filmed in ET! There is no absolute surety!
I made a personal claim. To debunk that is fairly easy. Point to a scene where you believe the sex is not simulated, from a movie/tv show that is reasonably mainstream (and therefore there is a good chance of me having seen it).
there are two realities in the world. the real world, and the world and the english language understood by diwana. i have gazed more than once into the latter in the vain hope of correcting the obvious shortcomings in it, and have found it to be a thankless, futile, sisyphean task, a world where English isnt English, a world where maths isnt maths, where things are so because diwana says they are so.

sorry little troll, im not playing anymore.
Are you** simulating **your thoughts in your post or is it real?
Not really sure if you are upset or not, when proved wrong. :(
P.S. You post fake and weak arguments to show you are somehow 'liberal' and 'open minded'.
