Its all about how strong your bond of friendship is with them, and how confident you feel about the relation you both keep, i mean the very nature of your friendship. In my case, im too insecure and aloof to approach the friend for a second time and remind them of the thing, whatsoever. But i believe there shouldnt be such drifts and insecurities. If you have that much confidence that its only her who can do it, i guess you should remind and rather keep inciting her unless she finally does what you want her to so. All the best. :)

Have faith in yourself and try to do it on your own. If your friend can do it, why can't you.

maybe a tad bit off topic, but what if what you asked for (or nicksik asked for) had something to do with fulfilling an emotional need. Like maybe asking her friend to pass certain message to a third friend on her behalf.
That is something that Niksik probably cant do herself.
